This afternoon, we were asked to assist Oceanport Fire Dept. at a house fire on Branchport Ave. Members responded with 4590 and 4585, and our primary mission was cutting holes in the roof to provide ventilation of heat and smoke for the firefighters inside.

This morning members responded to a call for a truck fire, a tractor trailer carrying mulch was stopped by the SPD with smoking coming from the trailer. Upon arrival units found a small fire in the mulch and quickly extinguished it.

Few weeks ago Eatontown Fire was alerted of a reported vehicle fire with possible extension. 1167 arrived on location confirming a vehicle fire with extension to the garage. A crew from Ladder 1192 arrived on location established a water supply and stretched two 1 3/4 hand lines for suppression.

This morning at 5:30am, a resident of Strauss Drive called and reported that there was a fire somewhere on Dorchester Way. Members of the Shrewsbury Police and Shrewsbury Hose Company responded and found that a resident's deck had caught fire and was indeed burning.

Members of station 45-1 operated at a multi jusridictional natural gas drill. Numerous scenarios were conducted by the fire departments and EMS squads in attendance.

December 12th the members from station 45-1 responded into Red Bank for mutual aid at a structure fire on Rector place. Units responding included Tower 4590, Rescue 4585 and Chief 4568.

Members responded to an MVA at Highway 35 and Sycamore Avenue, Engine 4576 and Rescue 4585 along with Chief 4568 responded. Members secured vehicles and assisted PD with traffic control.

Last night at approximately 11:09 pm the members of Station 45-1 were dispatched to Eatontown for a fully involved structure fire. The fire was located at 264 South Street in a vacant home. Upon arrival units found the first floor of the structure fully involved.

On the evening of June 26th the department was called to an activated sprinkler head at The Ivy townhouse's. Upon arrival crews found a sprinkler head had been knock off the pipe and was spraying water into the residence, the system was shut down and all units cleared.

Station 45 went on a mutual aid assignment into Little silver today, along with other mutual aid companies for a working structure fire in a townhome. A full station assignment was transmitted for Station 45.

At approximately 1:22PM Station 45-1 responded to Trader Joe's Plaza on Highway 35 for a mulch fire. Engine 4575 responded and the fire was quickly extinguished.

At approximately 6:47 am Station 45-1 was dispatched to Beechwood Drive for an unknown type fire. Upon arrival units found a grass fire approximately 20 feet x 30 feet in size. Fire was extinguished with a one inch forestry line.

Shortly after the call at The Grove, Station 45-1 was dispatched to the Borough of Little Silver on a mutual aid assignment for a reported chimney fire. Station 45-1 crews were assigned to the interior of the structure to check for fire extension.
